Privacy Policy

tracktelly (“tracktelly”, “we”, “us”) is a TV and movie tracking app operated by Pluto Laboratories. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because tracktelly collects little: we do not sell your data, we do not run third-party advertising, and we do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you create an account we store your email address, and your name if you choose to provide one. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the identifier and email associated with that sign-in.
  • Your library and activity. The shows and movies you track, watched status, episode and season progress, ratings, watchlist, and any custom lists you create.
  • TV Time import (optional). If you use the import feature, we retrieve your watch history from TV Time on your behalf and store it in your tracktelly library. This runs only when you start it.
  • Push notifications (optional). If you enable new-episode alerts, we store a device push token and a per-install identifier so we can deliver notifications to your device.
  • Basic technical data. Standard server logs (such as IP address and request metadata) generated when the app talks to our servers, used for security and reliability.

How we use it

  • To provide the core product: your Up Next queue, library, progress, stats, and lists.
  • To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • To send the new-episode notifications you opt into.
  • To operate, debug, and improve the service.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of providers to run tracktelly:

  • The Movie Database (TMDB). Used for show and movie catalog data. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
  • Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging (via the Expo push service), used only to deliver notifications you enable.
  • Apple and Google when you choose Sign in with Apple or Google.
  • Neon and Cloudflare, which host our database and application infrastructure.

We do not share or sell your personal information for advertising or marketing.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time fromProfile → Account → Delete account in the app, which removes your account and associated library data from our systems. You can also disconnect TV Time or turn off notifications at any time from the app.

Children

tracktelly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
